EVERYTHING IS A CHOICE

 

Dear friends I come to you today with my first outfit blog post and I am excited about it. I got this lovely top with an inspiring quote and I couldn't wait to show you guys. 

My lovely top inspired me to write today's post, hence the above topic.

Before I proceed, I want to apologise for being inconsistent here on the blog, I mean no excuses but my life has been so hectic through out the month of April. I sincerely apologise guys. I will try my best to post consistently now, so help me God.

That being said, let us get down to today's business.
The choices of life that we make today are the greatest determining factors of our future.
The choices we make can either make us or mar us. Read in the book of Deuteronomy 30:19 were God handed a choice life and death before the children of Israel to choose from
As a human being created by God, you have been handed the authority to choose wisely but you can only be on one side,either right or wrong choices;

You can choose to be a success or to be a failure (Prov 3:5-6).
You can choose to be happy or  sad (psalm 37:4, Philippians 4:8, 1peter 4:12-13).
You can choose to be wealthy or be wretched. (proverb13:11,16:3, Genesis 1:28-29, Luke 16:10-11).
You can choose the right companies or the wrong companies. (Romans12:2, 1Corinthians 15:33).
You can choose to have good morals or bad morals. (1Corinthians 15:33).

You can choose to be responsible or irresponsible. (Proverb22:1, 28:13).
You can choose to be respectful or rude. ( 1kings 2:3).
You can choose to be brave or live in fear. ( Deuteronomy 31:8, Isaiah 41:10, 2Timothy 1:7, Joshua 1:9).
You can choose to dress decently or indecently. (1Timothy 2:9, Genesis 27:15).
You can choose to be righteous or live a sinful life. (1Corinthians 6:19-20, Proverb 31:30).
You can choose to trust or to doubt. (Psalm 32:10, 3:3, Philippians 4:6, Habakkuk 2:3).

You can choose to be humble or to be proud. (1Peter 5:6-7)
You can choose to be contented or to be greedy. (1Timothy 6:6-10, 1John 2:16-17, Ecclesiastes 5:10, Hebrew 13:5)
You can choose to love or hate. (Romans 13:8-10).
You can choose to be generous or selfish. ( proverb 4:31, 22:9, Deuteronomy 8:18, 2Corinthians 9:7).

You can choose to lead or to serve. (Genesis 39:2-6, 1Peter 5:2-3).
You can choose  good health or sickness. (Proverbs 4:20-22,Proverbs 17:22, Isaiah 53:3-4)
You can choose to be cautious or be careless. ( Proverb 14:16, Ephesian 5:15, 1John 4:1, James 4:17).
You can choose to serve God or serve the Devil. ( 1John 1:9, Matthew 16:26-27, 6:24, Psalm 37:23).

Dear friends,  what ever choices that you must have made in the past you can still retrace your steps in life and make the right choices today for your future. As we are not perfect beings but God understands us because He is the ever loving father of all. Choose life today and celebrate victory. Romans 3:23, Matthew 5:48.
